In 2008 I launched my own business designing high end, bespoke stationery. I specialised in business cards, letter heads, and wedding stationery. Selling my own line of gift cards and stationery on Not On The High Street was a real pleasure (you can find these cards in illustration)
The wedding stationery side was different with more of an elaborate, involved hand build element. Decoupage was used to make large three layered invitations, occasionally with folds and pockets to convey the highest luxury item I could. I was proud to say that during my time of trading I was one of the market leaders in the field. I was also one of, or if only one of the sole female foil press and letter press specialists in Hampshire that operated a platen foil block machine by hand.
